Popdance

8th May 2009, 11:50am

A new dance class has just launched in Bricket Wood. Popdance is a fun, lighthearted dance class for all those who want to learn dance routines to Pop music such as Footloose, Girls Aloud, PussyCat Dolls and Kylie.

The class consists of a warm up routine plus a dance routine. The same dance routine is built upon for 4 weeks to give the class a chance to practise it. The routine is then changed to a different one for another 4 weeks.

Not only does Popdance give you a chance to get a bit of exercise, it is also a great escape from our responsibilities, busy lifestyles and demands from our children. It is a very relaxed, easy going and a fun class, each week you can spot a new pair of legwarmers, a sequined top or the odd dodgy dance hat but it is all part of the fun.

Venue is Bricket Wood Parish Centre on Station Road, AL2 3PJ. Monday nights 7pm - 8pm. A free taster session is available for anyone wanting to see if the class is for them. Just contact info@popdance.co.uk to book in your session. Classes are just £5 a session.
