Improve the great outdoors in Watford

Residents are invited to enjoy their remaining summer holidays in the great outdoors at one of Watford Borough Council’s nature conservation events.
The parks and open spaces in Watford are home to a variety of wildlife. Watford Borough Council is working with partners and local residents to protect and enhance the town’s biodiversity through its nature conservation programme.
You don’t need any previous experience, as there will be an expert leaders to help you get started  and tools are provided. You are also welcome to come along for part of the session or the entire event. Children must be accompanied by an adult. You are advised to wear old clothes and stout shoes.
Everyone is welcome to join in at events such as traditional haymaking and a bat safari   although events are subject to change to find out more contact
